Got the blues? July 15, 2014 by eflaherty Gentiana acaulis Gentiana verna Lapis lazuli I just can’t find the melancholy in these blues.
The top photo with three flowers is Gentiana acaulis. Beneath it, the single flower is Gentiana verna. I found these gentians identified at the Schynige Platte Alpine Botanical Garden.
You may collect the seeds for your garden to spread more of these beautiful flowers next time. 🙂
In the wild, they are.
They are pretty! Are they in your garden or in the wild?
